Today is a day for warm. My PA is constantly amazed by the fact I don't wear a vest all the way through winter and today is one of the days I agree I might need one.
Temperature is important to think about particularly for me because being too hot stresses my POTs (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia syndrome) and I get dizzy and collapse. Too cold and I tense all my muscles and dislocate myself. The answer? Layers. Layers. Easy to remove layers.

The skirt that I'm wearing is so awesome I own two colour ways and two more are on their way to me. It's cool enough to be worn on the hottest day of summer touring a hospital (notorious for their blistering warmth), but it's slightly brushed so seems to add warmth in the winter.
The jumper I found in a St Luke's charity shop. They're a wonderful organisation and have awesome shops. A large proportion of my stuff seems to come from there and go back there when I'm done with it. The jumper itself is fairly subtle but has lots of coloured thread woven in and it's lightweight but warm.
The belt is very old Primark, a staple for me when I'm wearing pencil skirts. The boots are (Remarkably!) Shoezone!
As for my outside look, the coat is another charity shop find, and the colour goes so well with this blanket my mother brought back from India. No matching gloves yet, however. I have no idea where the scarf came from.
One wheelchair hack that I'm particularly enjoying today, other than the blanket, is the USB heat pack I've got on my lumbar spine. The disk between L4 and L5 (vertebrae, for those less medically minded) is a bit mashed, and combined with the spasms in the muscle group I've forgotten the name of, I often have partial dislocations. Heat is excellent for reducing spasms and finding a flat heat pack so as not to disturb the contours of my cushion was delightful.
Also delightful: my dad for putting in the USB sockets. Thanks, dad. Thad.
(Please tell me someone got that joke?)
